We are a Rossendale-based architectural design practice working for residential, commercial and agricultural clients
EDS is a well-established architectural design practice with extensive expertise in the design of a range of residential, commercial and agricultural buildings. With over 20 years’ experience in the construction and architectural design industries, EDS has built a strong reputation for quality of drawings and modern design practices and is highly-recommended by a number of construction companies across the North West.
 
Our diverse activities in the building design and planning sector cover both public and private commissions for small to medium sized developments. EDS provides a comprehensive range of architectural design services which cover all types of proposed projects. Our typical commissions are valued from £10k to £500k.
 
Based in the heart of the Rossendale Valley, EDS has an excellent understanding and knowledge of the area. We help clients successfully obtain planning permission and/or building control approvals from local authorities for a wide range of projects including residential extensions, new build homes, loft and barn conversions, agricultural buildings, restaurants, shops, offices, schools and commercial properties.

  • Conceptual architectural design
  • Full planning application including preparation of planning, design and access statements
  • Technical building regulations drawings
  • Freelance drawing and detailing work
​EDS’s knowledge of the construction industry, local planning processes, background history of the area and experience in understanding exactly what the local authorities will accept, has led to the majority of the company’s applications resulting in successful approvals for clients.
